ACTOR AND VISUAL ARTIST

Hi there! I’m Christian (he/they). I’m an actor and visual artist based in NYC.

I’ve wanted to be a performer since I was a child, seeing Britney Spears’ taped ‘99 Concert in Hawaii (you know the one) and wanting to emulate her effervescent 19-year-old charm. After getting my first performing gig at age 12, I’ve been lucky enough to perform for audiences around the world for over a decade.

After graduating from Otterbein University (go Cards!), I moved to the big city and haven’t looked back. One pandemic, several apartments, and dozens of mental breakdowns later, here I am, stronger and more annoying than ever! Some of my favorite projects include sailing with Disney Cruise Line, the New York premiere of the extremely queer SHOOTING STAR: A Revealing New Musical, JERSEY BOYS at Theatre by the Sea, and HAIR at the Woodstock Playhouse (performed during the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival). In February, I performed my debut solo show cabaret LESS THAN THREE: Love Songs from a Romantically Frustrated Homosexual at The Green Room 42 (learn more about the show here).

In the grand tradition of many queer artists before me, I find myself a modern subscriber of the aestheticism movement. I believe in observing the beauty in all facets of life and everything around me. Whether that’s excellent fashion and decor or the decadence of a cup of coffee in the morning (with oat milk, thanks for asking!), I strive to soak up all of the beauty there is in this one brilliant life we have, and this practice is evident in my work. In my performance I try to highlight the beauty and humor in even the ugly moments of life.

If my work causes you to laugh, smile, or think differently about your own situation, then I consider it all worth it. And I will also be sending you an invoice.
