Hi there! I’m Christian (he/they). I’m an actor, visual artist, and aestheticist based in NYC.
I’ve wanted to be a performer since I was a child, seeing Britney Spears’ taped ‘99 Concert in Hawaii and wanting to emulate her effervescent 19-year-old charm. After getting my first performing gig at age 12, I’ve been lucky enough to perform for audiences around the world for over a decade.
After graduating from Otterbein University (go Cards!), I moved to the big city and haven’t looked back. One pandemic, several apartments, and dozens of mental breakdowns later, here I am, stronger and more annoying than ever! Some of my favorite projects include sailing with Disney Cruise Line, the New York premiere of the extremely queer SHOOTING STAR: A Revealing New Musical, JERSEY BOYS at Theatre by the Sea, and HAIR at the Woodstock Playhouse (performed during the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival).
In the grand tradition of many queer artists before me, I find myself a modern subscriber of the aestheticism movement. I believe in observing the beauty in all facets of life and everything around me. Whether that’s excellent fashion and decor or the decadence of a cup of coffee in the morning (with oat milk, thanks for asking!), I strive to soak up all of the beauty there is in this one brilliant life we have, and this practice is evident in my work. In my performance I try to highlight the beauty and humor in even the ugly moments of life.
If my work causes you to laugh, smile, or think differently about your own situation, then I consider it all worth it.
